About the artist

EGR (Erica Gosich Rose) is a contemporary visual artist, muralist and illustrator based in Toronto. Her work challenges views of fine art vs. graffiti and street art, and the dichotomy between nature and our industrialized world. Female figures and portraits explore themes of determination and empowerment while fairies represent angels among us. Known for live painting at international events and painting on just about any surface you can imagine, combining her flair for impressive large scale paintings with her passion for music, EGR’s art, from illustrations to murals, have appeared in print, music videos, album covers and everything in between. Her work was included in Canada’s first national exhibition of street art at a major Canadian museum at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) at the Institute for Contemporary Culture, at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) and The McMichael Canadian Art Collection. It can be found in galleries and collections across North America, Australia, UK, Brazil, Italy and worldwide.

Elicser (Elicser Elliot) is arguably Toronto’s best-loved graffiti artist. A frequent collaborator with other artists, his work consists of free formed collages, often using cartoon-like characters. Elicser explores narrative structures, new surfaces, and new sensations, through the lens of more than a decade spent in the global street art community. He leads the charge in the character-based movement in Toronto. Known for his intuitive ability to capture the essence of a subject, his work intimately frames subjects from children on the street to homages to the late great Michael Jackson and J-Dilla. His work is highly visible in major cities across Canada, Central + South America and South Africa. Elicser is recognized as Canada’s leading aerosol artist by Who’s Who in Black Canada. He has exhibited in both the ROM and AGO and participated in mural festivals in Honolulu (Pow! Wow! Hawaii) and Rochester, NY (Wall Therapy).
